Melissa's maternity portrait

We photographed Melissa and Mike's wedding in 2004, and when we moved to their neighborhood in 2005 and we became even better friends. Now they are expecting their first baby at the end of April. We are so excited for them! I did Melissa's maternity portait last weekend I dragged out the black back drop and set it up in their bedroom. But of course the light was best by the window. In this photo, we used a long silk bolt of cloth that I bought at a local fabric store. After the formal shots we did some fun photos with Mike and the dogs, Bandit and Indi! So cute! — Cathy
