Morgan's Bridal Portrait

When Morgan called and asked us to do her bridal portrait we jumped at the chance. It's a southern tradition to have a portrait of the bride in her dress. A picture from this session is usually on display at the wedding. In this part of the country, bridal portraits are rare. Morgan will be married next April in Texas and she was really looking forward to doing something with the Colorado Rockies as a backdrop. Boy did we have fun! Morgan wasn't the least bit shy about putting on her dress and scrambling over the rocks at the Garden of the Gods. Originally, Sean was scheduled to do her portrait, but he was feeling under the weather. So Surya (our good friend, former bride and now a second photographer in training) and I teamed up and Sean came along to hold the off-camera flash.
