Gina and Mike's Colorado Springs Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Gina and Mike's wedding in Colorado Springs a short time ago. Gina and Mike were married September 15 at the Sacred Heart Church in Old Colorado City. It's a beautiful Spanish style church and I've always wanted to photograph a wedding there. Melissa of Moonriver Weddings helped to coordinate their day and things went flawlessly as usual. My friend Lyle escorted Gina to the church and then drove the couple to the Garden of the Gods Club where the reception was held. A bagpiper escorted them into a cocktail hour on the patio, but the real entertainment came when a mule deer with horns the size of the ones in the lobby stopped by for a drink:) All in all a great wedding with a fabulous couple during a time of year in Colorado that can't be beat.
