Sara and Brian's Fine Arts Center Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

Sara and Brian were married at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center on Saturday, July 19. The Fine Arts Center was closed to weddings and events last year because of a huge remodel project. Sara and Brian's wedding is the first I've photographed in the new wing. And big surprise, it turns out to be a great location for an indoor wedding. The new addition is modern, large and airy with lots of natural light, perfect for an afternoon wedding in July! And while the FAC offered a unique location for their wedding, Sara and Brian had their own ideas of how to plan a memorable wedding. Like planting a cherry tree instead of lighting a unity candle, brewing and bottling beer for gifts for their guests, and at the end of the night, instead of hopping in a limo for a short ride to their hotel, the opted for pedal power, riding their old Schwinn cruisers!
