Sara and Brian's Fine Art Center Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Sara and Brian's wedding here. They were married on July 19 at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. Sara is a history teacher, but during the summer she tends bar at one of our favorite outdoor wedding locations, Hillside Gardens. That's how she got to know us and our work, she had been referring couples to us for years. When it came time for her own wedding she already knew who her photographer would be, she already knew she wanted Liz from Ambience Florals to do the flowers and she knew she wanted to see Brian before the wedding, so they could enjoy the reception with their guests. What she didn't know was how cool the "before" photos would be! The first photo of this post is of the two of them sharing a private moment before the wedding. I love Brian's smile, waiting, holding the flowers and Sara's sense of anticipation. No one is talking… all you can hear is the rustling of Sara's dress. This photo never would have happened if they didn't make time to see each other beforehand. What a fun wedding they had!
