Ashley & Jaret's Air Force Academy Wedding

You may remember Ashley and Jaret from the sneak peek I posted here. They were married at the Cadet Chapel at the Air Force Academy on Saturday, June 27.Their wedding day started out hot and sunny, but we knew (based on the rehearsal the day before) that a thunderstorm was coming. Just as we were finishing up photos inside the chapel the rain came down and the wind picked up…no matter. We headed straight to the reception to enjoy cocktails with their guests and we waited for the skies to clear. Once the storm passed we enjoyed the rainbows and portraits around Doolittle Hall, including some photos on the stone bridge nearby. One of my favorite photos from their reception is this one from the first dance. It's not very often I get to photograph a couple dancing in sunlight!
