Ashley and Chris' Wedding at The Nature Place (Sneak Peek)

Ashley and Chris were married at The Nature Place in Florissant, Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009. They chose this unique location because they both love the mountains and as a girl Ashley also attended summer camp here. Ashley and Chris are graduates of Colorado College and live in Denver. But for most of their guests, this was a destination wedding. Unfortunately rain cancelled the outdoor ceremony with views of Pikes Peak, but that didn't dampen their spirits. It was an incredible day in a beautiful place. I love this intimate moment (above) of Ashley and Chris waiting for the rain to stop. Tricia with Finesse Events did a super job planning the wedding day and managing the change in venue. The afternoon rains quickly disappeared and I caught this dramatic photograph of a full moon over the reception tent below. The tent was courtesy of Event Rents in Denver.
