Vision and reality can sometimes be two different things. The other night we had a raging snowstorm and I looked outside and saw this tree. The scene in my mind's eye didn't equate to what the tree actually looked like. So just for fun I've posted a beautiful little picture of the tree in the snowstorm and I've also included the original photograph that came straight out of the camera. I didn't do a

whole lot of work in photoshop; changed the color balance, added a crop and added some contrast. But it is a nice example of how I use photoshop in my studio. It's very simple adjustments that sometimes can make the biggest difference. As an artist, what I really want is for the viewer to appreciate my vision. After all, would you have thought the tree in the snowstorm outside looked any different if I hadn't shown you the original image? — Sean

Yes, the vision and reality is different, and maybe too different sometimes.
I'm learning photoshop now.
