Colleen and Toby's Breckenridge Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Colleen and Toby's wedding here. Colleen and Toby were married Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge. It's a beautiful spot half way up the mountain. Colleen and Toby were fantastic. They decided to see each other and do all of their family photographs before their wedding so they could enjoy their guests during the cocktail hour. Plus, we got to sneak off for a cool sunset portrait session. Check out the awesome picture at the top of this post. A dinner reception was held inside Ten Mile Station and a dance party followed in a tent outside with incredible lighting design by Pink Monkey. Colleen and Toby's Breckenridge Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

You might remember Colleen and Toby from their engagement sitting here. On Sunday I photographed their wedding at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge. Emily of Bella Design and Planning helped Colleen and Toby with a wedding day that included some cool personal touches. Their family of three dogs were in attendance. I love this shot of Bailey, their Burnese Mountain Dog, chilling with the wedding party during the ceremony. They also scheduled a crazy dance party in a tent outside Ten Mile Station. It started with drummers. Then the Samba dancers showed up. And it ended with an awesome solo performance by Colleen accompanied by the band Jakarta. Check out this cool idea

Colleen and Toby recently sent out their wedding invitations using pictures from their engagement sitting. They did a couple of things that were pretty neat. The first is the stamp with a photograph from their engagement. I thought that was awfully cute. The second is a picture of them on the front of the invitation. It shows them silhouetted and is rendered graphically. Also very cool. Emily of Bella Design and Planning helped them with the invitations. The stamps can be ordered online at stamps.com. All of our couples can request photographs from their engagement sitting. We will deliver them by e-mail. Hope this gives you some good ideas. Kelly and Nate's Ultimate Wedding Book

Kelly and Nate's Ultimate Wedding Book arrived in the mail and we're thrilled. Kelly and Nate were married last summer at St. Mary's CatholicChurch in Breckenridge and they celebrated with a reception on the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Kelly and Nate were attracted to theUltimate Wedding Book because of its design. The book has a contemprary look with a steel cover and the pages of the book aretextured linen. They also really liked that they could get additional, duplicate albums. The duplicate albums are smaller than the master buthave the same cover and linen pages. The layout of the book is wonderful and Kelly and Nate chose the best pictures to display. They had a lot to choose from too. I can't wait for them to see it! — Sean

Kelly and Nate's Breckenridge Wedding

You may have seen my earlier post on Kelly and Nate's wedding in Breckenridge.
They had a fantastic wedding day. It was also really fun for me because Kelly and Nate are our neighbors and I know we will be close friends for a long time to come:) Kelly and Nate were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in downtown Breckenridge in an afternoon ceremony. The light streaming through stained glass in the church was incredible. Then they hosted a reception at Ten Mile Station halfway up the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort. It made for a spectacular setting. Because there were two locations, it was important that things went smoothly. Emily of Bella Design and Planning saw to it that they did. Thanks Emily for all of your help! I'm so thrilled with the way Kelly and Nate's wedding day turned out and I'm excited about the photographs! Kelly and Nate's Breckenridge Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

Kelly and Nate were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge last Saturday. They held their reception at Ten Mile Station a lodge half-way up the ski resort with an incredible view of the Upper Blue Valley. Their wedding really was spectacular. Emily of Bella Design and Planning coordinated the event. And they chose one my favorite musicians Arch Hooks to play live at the reception. I thought I would show a couple of pictures since we are headed into a holiday week and we are in the process of photographing several weddings. (One more is in the mountains.)
