Abbey and Paul's Garden of the Gods Engagement Sitting

I photographed Abbey and Paul's engagement sitting last Saturday at the Garden of the Gods. Abbey and Paul live in Dallas and are planning a June destination wedding at the Broadmoor Hotel. They visited the Springs to finalize their wedding day details and as Paul put it "We want to make sure we have some engagement pictures with a Colorado backdrop." Danielle and Dietmar's Ultimate Wedding Book

We just received our newest studio sample with pictures from Danielle and Dietmar's Broadmoor Wedding. This is our Ultimate Wedding Book and it's just like it sounds. Printed and bound in Italy, it's has a brushed steel cover and textured linen pages. Bound as a book, it's nearly indestructible. We will have a booth at the show and this book (among others) will be on display. Danielle and Dietmar's wedding was held at the Mountain View Terrace. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie helped Danielle and Dietmar plan their wedding day. Maggie will also be at the show. This book is a wonderful presentation of Danielle and Dietmar's wedding with real moments, feeling and emotion. The book also really shows off the Broadmoor's five-star service. Megan and Andy's Coffee Table Books

Megan and Andy's Coffee Table Wedding Books just arrived and they look wonderful. Megan and Andy were married at the First Christian Church and held a reception at the Broadmoor Hotel. Megan and Andy ordered a three-volume set of coffee table books, one 10x10 for themselves and two additional 8x8 books for their parents. The books come in a black slipcover and the linen pages are laminated for additional protection. Megan and Andy planned a destination wedding with help from Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie. Flowers and centerpieces were created by Design Works. My good friend Mark Adams of LaCour Photo helped me photograph their wedding. Danielle and Dietmar's Broadmoor Wedding

Danielle and Dietmar were married Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Broadmoor Hotel. I posted a sneak peek of their wedding here. They hosted an intimate destination wedding for their closest friends and family. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie helped them plan the affair. Danielle and Dietmar's ceremony was outside at the Mountain View Terrace. They also decided to see each other before the ceremony and that allowed us to make some dramatic portraits around the hotel. Anne and Michael's Pauline Chapel Wedding

Anne and Michael were married at Pauline Chapel Monday, September 7, 2009. I posted a sneak peek of their wedding here. Anne and Michael were married in the morning and held a lunch reception across the street in the Lake Terrace dining room at the Broadmoor Hotel. I love this shot of Anne and Michael exiting the chapel by bubbles. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie helped to plan their day. One idea that is always popular with our couples is a group photograph at the cocktail hour. Heather and Dale's Coffee Table Books

Heather and Dale's Coffee Table Books arrived in the mail yesterday and they look fantastic! Heather and Dale were married last fall at the Broadmoor Hotel. They had a beautiful wedding and their one-year anniversary is only a few days away! (Septemeber 27 is THE best date of the year for a wedding. Cathy and I know this because we were also married on Sept. 27th:) Heather and Dale decided on a three-volume set of books, with one master and two smaller duplicate books, one for each set of parents. They were very careful in their selection of pictures and have a nice selection of both color and black and white images that complement each part of their wedding day. We also went through multiple rounds of changes to the design and because of the care and thought that went into their books, the presentation of their wedding day photographs is quite beautiful. Danielle and Dietmar's Broadmoor Wedding (Sneak Peek)

You might remember Danielle and Dietmar from their engagement sitting here. I photographed their wedding on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at the Broadmoor Hotel. Danielle and Dietmar planned an intimate destination wedding with their closest friends and family in attendance. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie did a fantastic job planning and coordinating their wedding day. We didn't escape the rainy weather on Saturday, but their ceremony was held outside at the Mountain View Terrace which offers a covered patio. So while it was wet, it didn't rain on our parade:) We were also fortunate to do their bride and groom portraits before the rain came. Anne and Michael's Pauline Chapel wedding (Sneak Peek)

Anne and Michael were married at the Pauline Chapel on Labor Day Monday, Sept. 7 2009. They celebrated with a reception at the Broadmoor Hotel, right across the street from the chapel. We did all their photos beforehand. After the ceremony, Anne and Michael and their guests were led across the street by a violinist to a cocktail hour at the Lakeside Terrace. Megan and Andy's First Christian Church Wedding (Sneak Peek)

On Saturday I photographed Megan and Andy's wedding at First Christian Church. Megan and Andy planned a destination wedding with help from Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie. Their reception was held in the Rocky Mountain Ballroom at the Broadmoor Hotel. My close friend Mark Adams of LaCour helped me with Megan and Andy's wedding. Meggan and Blake's First Christian Church Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Meggan and Blake's First Christian Church wedding here. Meggan and Blake were married July 18, 2009 at First Christian Church. Meggan and Blake celebrated afterwards with cocktails on the Lakeside terrace at the Broadmoor Hotel. Dinner and dancing in the Lake Terrace dining room followed. Flowers by Jean-Marie Designs were a highlight. Meggan's bouquet of yellow roses from Texas was absolutely stunning. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie planned their destination wedding.
