Beth and Joel's Fine Art Wedding Books

Beth and Joel's Fine Art Wedding Books just arrived and we're thrilled at how they turned out. Beth and Joel purchased a master 12x12 book for themselves and a smaller duplicate companion album as a gift. We worked hard on the design of the book and they decided to add several pages to accommodate all of their favorite pictures. The Fine Art Wedding Book is not your typical wedding album. It's a a twist on the traditional album and includes a custom layout by our designer, two different mats on the inside and a suite of cover options. Beth and Joel decided on a blue metallic Buckram that goes perfectly with the colors of their wedding. Beth and Joel were married Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Garden of the Gods Club. They held their ceremony outside the club by the reflecting pool. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie did her usual fabulous job planning their wedding day. Wedding pictures were a priority for Beth and Joel and at the end of the day, they made sure their pictures were presented in a book they really loved. Click here to see a slide show of their wedding day. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I can't wait for them to see their books! — Sean

You might remember Danielle and Dietmar from their engagement sitting here. I photographed their wedding on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at the Broadmoor Hotel. Danielle and Dietmar planned an intimate destination wedding with their closest friends and family in attendance. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie did a fantastic job planning and coordinating their wedding day. We didn't escape the rainy weather on Saturday, but their ceremony was held outside at the Mountain View Terrace which offers a covered patio. So while it was wet, it didn't rain on our parade:) We were also fortunate to do their bride and groom portraits before the rain came. Still, I couldn't resist dashing out during their reception to make this romantic photograph (see below). Stay tuned for a slide show of Danielle and Dietmar's Broadmoor wedding soon! — Sean

Diane and Paul's Hillside Gardens Wedding

Diane and Paul were married Friday, July 24 at Hillside Gardens, I posted a sneak peak of their wedding here. I knew Diane and Paul were going to have a wedding filled with personal touches, including friends and family in the ceremony. Enter ring bearers Brady and Keigan, Diane's grandsons in a wagon decorated for the occasion and dragging several larger-than-life blue plastic wedding rings. It was so cute! I've seen many couples include a sand ritual in their ceremony but Diane and Paul's officiant Arianna did something a little different. Before mixing the sand each of the couples dump out some of their own sand, thus "leaving behind" some part of their old life that they do not want to bring into the new life. Once they mixed the sand, symbolizing the oneness of marriage, Arianna scattered all the sand on the ground at their feet and invited the couple to take their first steps and then share their first kiss as husband and wife. It was a unique and meaningful way to wrap up the ceremony. Thank you Diane and Paul for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day.
