Emily and Robert's Fine Art Wedding Book

We just finished Emily and Robert's Fine Art Wedding Book and it's gorgeous. I'm jealous of their cover - vanilla bean genuine leather. It's just delectable. It will be the cover material of our next studio sample. Emily and Robert traded in the Coffee Table Wedding Book included in their wedding coverage for our Fine Art Wedding Book. (It's our most popular upgrade.) Emily and Robert wanted traditional, but also contemporary. The Fine Art Wedding Book fits that description perfectly. We designed their bookdigitally and sent the design to the book manufacturer in New Zealand. We then printed the images and assembled it by hand here in our office. Emily and Robert chose a classic black mat on the inside with a gold keyline that matches thecover perfectly. Emily and Robert were married Saturday June, 20, 2009 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Erin and Seth's Coffee Table Book

We just received Erin and Seth's Coffee Table Book in the mail and it's gorgeous! Erin and Seth were married Saturday August 1, 2009 outside on the patio at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Their reception was held in the adjacent ballroom. Their book had 20 pages and it come with a black slipcover. The pages are linen and are laminated for additional protection. Erin and Seth are a dashing couple. I love how their portraits (including a session at the Broadmoor Hotel) are displayed throughout the book. Click here to see their wedding slide show. Erin and Seth's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Erin and Seth's wedding here. Erin and Seth were married Saturday, August 1 on the terrace at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Erin and Seth's colors of kelly green and navy blue were striking! I loved the bridesmaid's dresses and the groomsmen each with their own color-coordinated ties. Erin's dress was satin and strapless and she wore her hair up with a simple hair pin which was the perfect touch. Thank you Erin and Seth for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day! Erin and Seth's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding (Sneak Peek)

Erin and Seth were married August 1 on the patio overlooking Cheyenne Mountain at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Photography was a priority to them so Erin and Seth made enough time for photographs both before and after the wedding. We started the day with a private moment at the ceremony site and then caught a ride down to the golf club for photos on the 18th green. I love this shot (above) of Erin and Seth enjoying a moment together. Erin works at the Broadmoor Hotel and so she also arranged for a photo session by the lake at after the ceremony and we still made it to the cocktail hour in time! Emily and Robert's Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding

Emily and Robert were married at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort on Saturday, June 20. You may remember the sneak peek of their wedding I posted here. They were married in an afternoon ceremony on the patio with a view of Cheyenne Mountain. They decided to see each other before the wedding and do most of family photos beforehand so they could enjoy themselves at cocktail hour. The plan worked better than expected - only minutes after the ceremony the skies opened up. Cocktails were enjoyed inside while it rained. When the rain stopped we went back outside for a large group photo of all the guests and a portrait of Emily and Robert at sunset. Click here to view Emily and Robert's slide show. Emily and Robert's Cheyenne Mtn Resort Wedding (Sneak Peek)

I just returned from our family vacation and we're getting caught up on all of the fabulous weddings we photographed in June. I photographed Emily and Robert's wedding June 20 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. They were married on the patio overlooking the golf course and held their reception below the resort at the Country Club of Colorado. Emily wore a beautiful vintage wedding dress and Robert was perfectly matched in a classic dress coat. I love this image of Emily waiting to see Robert (I photographed her reflection in the window.) Anna and Dan's Fine Art Wedding Book

Anna and Dan's Fine Art Wedding Books are finished and we're thrilled! Anna and Dan were married in February at Shove Chapel. They decided early on that the Fine Art Wedding Book was their album of choice. We've been diligently working with them to make this incredible three volume set of books, one 12x12 master for them and two 8x8 companion albums for each set of parents. All of the books have 38 pages. The cover material is Crespi, a beautiful leather that really shows well. Anna and Dan also chose to display their pictures using a grayoverlay mat with a white key line mat. The process of putting these books together is labor intensive. We design the book digitally,print the images and then assemble the book by hand here in our studio. I love putting together books like this. They are are made in the old tradition and with classic style. I cannot wait for Anna and Dan to see them! — Sean

Anna and Dan's Shove Chapel Wedding

Anna and Dan were married at Shove Chapel two weekends ago. I posted a sneak peek of their wedding here. Anna and Dan were like a couple straight out of the movies. I was excited when they told me they would see each other before the wedding and do all of their wedding party and family photographs. That gave them time to enjoy a ride with Lyle in his Buick and visit the Garden of the Gods at sunset. Carolyn and Colleen of Classic Designs did a fantastic job helping Anna plan the wedding and Liz Ash of Ambience Florals created some spectacular bouquets for Anna and her bridesmaids. After the Garden of the Gods, Lyle brought Anna and Dan to their reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Anna and Dan's Shove Chapel Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

I photographed my first wedding of 2008 last Saturday. Anna and Dan were married in a ceremony at Shove Chapel. You might remember Anna and Dan from their engagement sitting at the Garden of the Gods. We had a great day for wedding pictures on Saturday. The weather was warm enough and Anna and Dan enjoyed a private moment together outside of Shove on the campus of Colorado College. Afterwards, Anna and Dan celebrated with a great reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. They also enjoyed a ride in Lyle's beautiful old buick. Marci and Dan's Fine Art Wedding Book

We just finished Marci and Dan's Fine Art Wedding Book. Marci and Dan decided on a classic black leather cover with a gray mat interiorand white key line around the pictures. This isn't your parent's wedding album. Each album is designed specifically for the couple. Theleaves are permanently bound into the cover of your choice. (And you should see the choices of covers)Every page is unique. Every arrangement is one-of-a-kind. I love the spread where Marci andDan see each other and then you see Marci's reaction. Marci and Dan's Wedding

Marci and Dan were married Saturday, May 26 at the First Presbyterian Church downtown with a reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Both Marci and Dan are pilots for the Air Force and both families have a long tradition of service to their country. All branches of the armed forces were represented at their wedding! They had two saber arches as they left the alter…one inside, one out. And they were great fun to be with on their wedding day : ) Thanks Marci and Dan for inviting me to photograph your wedding! Jennifer and Mathew's Wedding

Jennifer and Mathew were married at St. Paul Catholic Church and hosted their reception in the Lake Terrace Dining Room at the Broadmoor Hotel. Their wedding was mix of two traditions. Mathew's family is from India and Jen's family is from Poland. They decided on the Broadmoor Hotel because Colorado Springs is where Jennifer grew up. Their wedding was planned as a weekend affair with events that included a rehearsal dinner at the Garden of the Gods Club and a brunch at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. It was a really wonderful weekend. Events were coordinated by Maggie Moran of Celebrations by Maggie and flowers were provided by the Design Works. Jennifer and Mathew were fantastic. Of this moment

Cara and Josh were apart for months before their wedding. Cara was here and Josh was serving in Iraq. They are deeply in love and on their wedding day shortly after Josh returned home they couldn't get close enough. I love this photograph because it shows how much they were in a zone all their own.
