Tara and Aaron's Coffee Table Book

We just received Tara and Aaron's Coffee Table Book in the mail and it's beautiful! Tara and Aaron were married September 4, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Their wedding reception was held at the Phanton Canyon Brewery. Our associate Brienne photographed their wedding day. Their book has a lot of wonderful storytelling moments and there's some really wonderful portraits of them at the railyard near the church. They decided to see each other before their ceremony and I'm super glad they did. Their book is twenty pages and comes with a slipcover for extra protection. Tara and Aaron's Colorado Springs Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Tara and Aaron's Colorado Springs wedding here. Tara and Aaron were married Friday, September 4, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in downtown Colorado Springs. Our associate photographer Brienne photographed their wedding. St. Mary's has a beautiful sanctuary and Brienne made this gorgeous shot (left) during their wedding ceremony. Afterwards Tara and Aaron celebrated with a reception at the Phantom Canyon Brewery across the street from the church. I've said this before, but Phantom Canyon's third floor banquet hall has to be the best place in town for a party. Click here to see a brief slide show of Tara and Aaron's wedding day. Thank you Tara and Aaron inviting us to photograph your wedding! — Sean

Tara and Aaron's Colorado Springs Wedding (Sneak Peek)

Tara and Aaron were married on Friday, Sept. 4 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Brienne photographed their wedding and the pictures look really great! Tara and Aaron were on the fence about seeing each other before their wedding, but they didn't want to miss any of their reception at the Phantom Canyon Brewery. After deciding to do it they were thrilled. The private moment turned in a fantastic portrait session on the town (I love this shot Brienne made of Tara and Aaron and the train.) They were also able to have a relaxed family session at the church and still catch of all the events at their reception. If you're considering a wedding here in town, there has to be no better reception spot that Phantom Canyon Brewery. It has a great views and incredible food. Stay tuned for a slide show of Tara and Aaron's Colorado Springs wedding soon! — Sean

Brienne photographed their wedding which was a small affair. But it was a heartfelt one. I'm especially pleased with Pamela and Edward's wedding pictures. There were so many nice moments that Brienne captured. She tells their story beautifully and with classic style. Click here to see a brief slide show of Pamela and Edward's wedding. A special thanks to Pamela and Edward for inviting Brienne to photograph your wedding day! — Sean

Over labor day weekend Brienne photographed Pamela and Edward's wedding at the Garden of the Gods. Pamela is the sister of Michelle from Michelle and David's wedding. Danielle and Brian's Coffee Table Book has arrived!

Danielle and Brian's Coffee Table Book arrived in the mail yesterday and I'm psyched! It looks great. Danielle and Brian decided to add additional pages to their book to accommodate more photographs and judging from the layout it was definitely worth it. They decided on the red slipcover with their names embossed in silver. The slipcover is great protection and the pages are laminated, also for protection. I especially enjoyed their wedding album because their wedding was so unusual. Click on their names above to find out why. I can't wait for them to see it in person:)- Sean

Anna and Dan's Shove Chapel Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

I photographed my first wedding of 2008 last Saturday. Anna and Dan were married in a ceremony at Shove Chapel. You might remember Anna and Dan from their engagement sitting at the Garden of the Gods. We had a great day for wedding pictures on Saturday. The weather was warm enough and Anna and Dan enjoyed a private moment together outside of Shove on the campus of Colorado College. Afterwards, Anna and Dan celebrated with a great reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. They also enjoyed a ride in Lyle's beautiful old buick. Stay tuned for a slideshow of Anna and Dan's wedding day soon! — Sean

Maggie and Oliver's Engagement Session

Last weekend I photographed Maggie and Oliver's engagment session at the Garden of the Gods. Maggie and Oliver are planning an August wedding next year. Cathy will be photographing their wedding, but because she's expecting the birth of our second child (like any day now) I did their engagement pictures. Maggie is an engineer and Oliver is attending law school in Kansas. They are both from Colorado Springs and they wanted pictures with the mountains they love. I think we managed to pull it off :) and we had a great time running around the garden! To see a brief slideshow from their engagement pictures click here. — Sean

Ann and Todd's Pauline Chapel Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

On Saturday Ann and Todd were married at Pauline Chapel. They were our first couple of the year to wed on a snow day and I was glad for it. The snow made for some gorgeous outside pictures. Pauline Chapel was beautiful. Ann was more so. Ann and Todd embraced their snowy wedding day with warmth and good humor. After the wedding we made some dramatic pictures outside the chapel at dusk and then headed to the Garden of the Gods Club for their reception. Stay tuned for a slideshow of their wedding day! — Sean

Cassie and Will's Wedding

Cassie and Will were married at Hillside Gardens last weekend. Their wedding was personal and intimate. What excited me most about their day? They made time for pictures before their wedding. And we made some fantastic pictures! Hillside Gardens is a wonderful place to photograph a couple in love. See what I mean when you watch Cassie and Will's wedding slideshow. Cassie and Will have a special story. They were in the same kindergarten class at Steele Elementary (where Abby will attend grade school) and they went to prom together! They both graduated from college with science degrees. They are incredibly talented and fun. And they have a real love of adventure. Their honeymoon involves taking an old Volvo that Cassie restored to Alaska and back. Cassie's parents are also our neighbors, so it felt as if we were guests at the wedding and not the photographers. Thank you Cassie and Will for inviting us to photograph your wedding! Mackenzie and Brendan's Wedding

Mackenzie and Brendan were married Friday, June 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. St. Mary's is a historical landmark in Colorado Springs. The church has incredible stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings. Mackenzie and Brendan were married in a late afternoon ceremony and the light just streamed into the church. It was truly magical. Afterwards, Mackenzie and Brendan made time for some portraits on the balcony and we made some fantastic pictures. One of my favorites really shows off Mackenzie's dress. Her dress was worn by her mother and her grandmother and Mackenzie carefully tailored it for her own wedding. Mackenzie and Brendan then hosted a cocktail hour and reception in the Summit Ballroom of the Antler's Hilton across the street from the church.
