Carrie and Derm's Fine Art Wedding Book

You might remember I posted photographs of Carrie and Derm's coffee table book here. It was a nice book and I like it. But Carrie felt like she wanted more from her album. She wanted somethingmore significant, more timeless, something with style, something that REALLY showed off her fabulous wedding pictures. So we took her coffee table book and traded it in for a Fine ArtWedding Book. And what a book it is! She decided on a beautiful brown leather for the cover. On the inside she selected a wonderful mist mat with a brown keyline around her images. We also took the picture selection she made and edited itto make sure only the best pictures are on display. Oh my goodness. This book is beautiful and one of a kind. Our Fine Art Wedding Book is by far the most popular upgrade. I'm so pleasedand I know that Carrie will be pleased too. It's simply stunning. You might also remember that Carrie and Derm were married last spring and they held their reception at the Club at Flying Horse. This is a new location and after photographing Carrie and Derm's wedding I'm chomping at the bit to photograph there more. It's a fantastic venue with incredible architecture. Not only that, but it'sa perfect reception location for Air Force Academy weddings, since it's so close. I couldn't help myself, I've posted way too many spreads from Carrie and Derm's book. I can't wait for them to see it! – Sean

Stephanie and Thomas' Air Force Academy Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

Stephanie and Thomas were married Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Air Force Academy Chapel with a reception at The Club at Flying Horse. On the morning of their wedding the rainy fall weather moved in. But Stephanie and Thomas didn't let a little rain dampen their wedding day. They just rolled with it! And while the fog covered up the views at the Air Force Academy Chapel and at The Club at Flying Horse, it also made for some cool photos! I love this shot of Stephanie and Thomas undnearth the archway of the club. Watch for a slide show of their wedding day shortly! —Cathy

Carrie and Derm's Coffee Table Book

Carrie and Derm's coffee table book arrived in the mail. Their wedding was the first one we've photographed at The Club at Flying Horseand the book really shows it off. Carrie and Derm decided on a 20-page 10 x 10 book. Carrie and Derm selected a lot of pictures. I think we wereable to design a book that still offered space for the pictures. The book comes with a black slip cover. We carry the slip covers intwo colors, black and red. Right now the black slip cover is growing on me:) I can't wait for them to see it! — Sean

Carrie and Derm's Flying Horse Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Carrie and Derm's wedding here. Carrie and Derm were married at St. Michael's Episcopal Church and celebrated afterwards at The Club at Flying Horse. Carrie and Derm both plan collegiate athletic events and so they had to find a break in their schedules for their wedding day. As it turned out there was time between winter and spring sports. Carrie was referred to me by Kelly of Kelly and Nate and when we first met I knew we would be good fit. Carrie and Derm wanted something low-key, which I love. But I can remember arguing passionately for a first dance, which they eventually agreed to:) Their wedding was filled with genuine moments and it helped greatly that their wedding plan involved seeing each other and doing family photographs before the ceremony. Click here to see a brief slide show of their wedding. Thanks Carrie and Derm, it was a lovely wedding and I was thrilled to be a part of it! — Sean

Carrie and Derm's Flying Horse Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

On Saturday I photographed Carrie and Derm's wedding at St. Michaels Church. We first met at The Club at Flying Horse. This is a brand new golf course and spa. It boasts Tuscan architecture and it makes you feel like you're hanging out at a beautiful Italian villa. Carrie and Derm have the kind of style that is perfect for the Flying Horse and we had a ball taking pictures around the grounds. Liz Ash of Ambience Florals did an incredible job with the flowers. I've posted a few photographs but I will be showing a slide show of their wedding in the next week or so. Keep your eye for it and thanks Carrie and Derm for a fantastic day! — Sean
