Erica and Matthew's Ultimate Wedding Books

Nearly three years ago I photographed Erica and Matthew's Garden of the Gods Club wedding. On Christmas eve, we delivered their Ultimate Wedding Books. Good things come in time and this was exactly what happened with Erica and Matthew. Their wedding books are not ordinary in the least. Erica and Matthew requested that we include some text in their album to remember some of the moments in both words and pictures. We went through several design changes in order to incorporate their text correctly and it turned out great. Erica and Matthew also decided on several extra pages to accommodate all of the images they wanted. They had a gorgeous wedding in May at the Garden of the Gods Club. The images are stunning and the presentation in the book printed on textured linen paper really makes everything pop. Their Ultimate Wedding Books were printed as a three-volume set, one for themselves and two others fopr parents. Each book has a beautiful and contemporary steel cover. Beth and Joel's Fine Art Wedding Books

Beth and Joel's Fine Art Wedding Books just arrived and we're thrilled at how they turned out. Beth and Joel purchased a master 12x12 book for themselves and a smaller duplicate companion album as a gift. We worked hard on the design of the book and they decided to add several pages to accommodate all of their favorite pictures. The Fine Art Wedding Book is not your typical wedding album. It's a a twist on the traditional album and includes a custom layout by our designer, two different mats on the inside and a suite of cover options. Beth and Joel decided on a blue metallic Buckram that goes perfectly with the colors of their wedding. Beth and Joel were married Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Garden of the Gods Club. They held their ceremony outside the club by the reflecting pool. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie did her usual fabulous job planning their wedding day. Wedding pictures were a priority for Beth and Joel and at the end of the day, they made sure their pictures were presented in a book they really loved. Emily and Kevin's Coffee Table Book

We just received Emily and Kevin's Coffee Table Book in the mail. Like Jee and Jong's, it looks great! Emily and Kevin were married at the Garden of the Gods Club May 30, 2009. Their wedding was a bit on the rainy side, but we still made some wonderful pictures with the mountains as a backdrop. Emily and Kevin decided on 40 pages and showing off some wonderful moments. Emily and Kevin's book comes with a black slipcover with silver type. The pages are matted linen with lamination for additional protection. Emily and Kevin traveled from Chicago for their destination wedding. They planned an intimate affair with hopes for an outdoor ceremony and dramatic views of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Rain on their wedding day almost kept the ceremony indoors, but they decided to take a chance and fortunately for everyone it worked out! Emily and Kevin decided to see each other before the ceremony and that was our chance to make some great photographs of Emily and Kevin and the mountains! Emily and Kevin's Garden of the Gods Club Wedding (Sneak Peek)

Emily and Kevin were married Saturday, May 30 at the Garden of the Gods Club. This was my first wedding of the season at the club. I love photographing there. The views of Pikes Peak are always dramatic and this day was no different. For awhile the mountain was shrouded by a spring snow shower. An afternoon rain shower at the Club threatened to move the ceremony inside but Emily and Kevin held out. As soon as it cleared, the chairs were quickly wiped off and the ceremony was a go. Fortunately, Emily and Kevin arranged to do all their photos before the ceremony and before the showers! Congratulations to Emily and Kevin…watch for a slide show from their wedding soon! —Cathy

Beth and Joel's Garden of the Gods Club Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Beth and Joel's wedding here. Beth and Joel were married Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Garden of the Gods Club. They held their ceremony outside the club by the reflecting pool. The day started as cloudy and dreary but quickly changed to something a lot more beautiful and pleasant! Beth and Joel placed a priority on photography and with help from Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie scheduled to see each other before their ceremony. They also scheduled a photo session with their wedding party in the hills above Colorado Springs. We had so much fun and we made some incredible pictures before the ceremony even started. But perhaps the most dramatic and telling photograph of the day happened at sunset by the reflecting pool. We made this photograph (above.) Mamie and Nick's Pauline Chapel Wedding (Sneak Peek)

You might remember Mamie and Nick from their engagement sitting last fall. On Saturday I photographed their wedding at Pauline Chapel, a beautiful and historic landmark just across the street from the Broadmoor. Of course Memorial Day weekend is never complete without thunderstorms. Still, we managed to catch the best part of the weekend before their reception at the Garden of the Gods Club. On the way to the reception we rode in a 1959 Rolls Royce through the Garden of the Gods park and made this fun photograph! The car was courtesy of ddg Classics. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie helped Mamie and Nick plan their wedding. And the flowers that made the flower girls truly flower-like were provided by Design Works. Ginny and Drew's Garden of the Gods Club Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Ginny and Drew's Garden of the Gods Club wedding here. Ginny and Drew were married Friday May 1, 2009. Ginny and Drew planned their wedding while they were stationed overseas. They did a wonderful job. Because of the rain, their ceremony was moved to the patio area. Sometimes being closer allows for more photographic possibilities. I love the photograph of Ginny's parents, below. To a photographer, rainy days can be very pleasing. Our new Designer Wedding Book

I photographed Meredith and Chris' wedding last fall and we recently posted here pictures from their three-volume set of wedding albums. I loved their wedding pictures so much that when it came time to update our line of designer wedding books I decided to use Meredith and Chris' pictures from their wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club. Our new designer wedding book is just beautiful. It has a wonderful brown leather cover (in the past, our choices were either black or red leather). I first saw it on the trade show floor at our professional convention this year and I knew right away that we had to offer it. We are probably the only studio in Colorado that has this book! But it's perfectly Colorado! I know that many of our couples will fall head over heals in love with it. It's beautifully designed and the layout of Meredith and Chris' wedding pictures is exceptional. There is a nice mix of black and white and color images in the book and we chose a white page to really set off the pictures and add contrast to the leather cover. You might remember Beth and Joel from their engagement sitting here. On Saturday I photographed their wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club. The weather report said we were in for some rain, but you can never trust a weather report! It turned into one those perfect Colorado days in May with lazy clouds drifting overhead during their ceremony:) Before their wedding we took a trip into the hills above Colorado Springs to do a portrait session.
