Jill and Josh's Designer Wedding Book

Jill and Josh's Wedding Books arrived yesterday and I just had to share. Jill and Josh had a spectacular wedding on the West Lawn of the Broadmoor Hotel last summer. They decided on our contemporary album for themselves and their parents. It's the same album that another of our Broadmoor wedding couples, John and Fang, decided on. Click here to see their book.
I always hold my breath in anticipation when we order this wedding book. And when they arrive in the mail, it's an exciting moment. The reason? There is no preview of the book before it's made. La Vie, the company that creates them, makes them by hand. So each and every book is different.And unique! I'm excited for Jill and Josh and their parents, to see their books. Their parents decided on two hard-bound companion albums and they are just as smashing! They even have their choice of colors, which is pretty cool.

Jill and Josh's Wedding at the Broadmoor

We photographed Jill and Josh's wedding at the Broadmoor on Saturday. Jill and Josh were married on the West Lawn with a view of Cheyenne Mountain. The West Lawn is one of the most intimate and beautiful locations on the Broadmoor grounds. Cheyenne Mountain peeks through trees of pine and maple. At sunset, the light is incredible. So, by the way, was the wedding. One of my favorite pictures is of Jill and Josh embracing. After the wedding, guests enjoyed cocktails on the Lakeside Terrace. A magnificent reception was held in the Lakeside Terrace Dining Room. Maggie Moran of Celebrations by Maggie coordinated the event. Flowers and decorations by Design Works. Jill and Josh's Engagement

We're getting close to our wedding season in Colorado and one of our first weddings of the year is going to be fantastic. Jill Sherman and Josh Goldenberg will wed in a ceremony on the west tower lawn of the Broadmoor Hotel June 3, 2006. I was introduced to Jill and Josh by their wedding coordinator Maggie Moran of Celebrations by Maggie. And, I got to know them during their engagement sitting at Monument Valley Park last summer. Check out their engagement slideshow. Jill's a physician and Josh is getting his MBA at Cornell University. They're really fun and they've got an incredible wedding planned. It starts with a late afternoon ceremony. Design Works will be doing the flowers and the Aspen String Quartet will play. After the ceremony, white wine, hors d' oeurves and cocktails will be served on the Lakeside Terrace. In addition, we're planning on a big group photo with all of the guests. A reception and dinner follows inside in the Lake Terrace Dining Room.
