Kim and Galloway's Fox Run Park Wedding

We posted a sneak peak of Kim and Galloway's Fox Run Park wedding here. Brienne photographed their wedding and did a fantastic job. Brienne is an associate photographer for Cayton Photography and she is a perfect fit for wedding couples like Kim and Galloway. Kim and Galloway used the Gazebo at Fox Run Park for their wedding ceremony. It's wonderfully scenic. Aftewards Kim and Galloway enjoyed a ride in Lyle's Buick to their reception at the Mozaic Restaurant at the Inn at Palmer Divide. Mozaic is the new hot spot for weddings and offers a wonderful view of the Rampart Range. Melissa of Moonriver Weddings and Events is a family friend of Kim's and was on hand to help coordinate their wedding day. Click here to watch a brief slide show of their wedding and thanks so much Kim and Galloway for letting us be a part of your day! — Sean

Kim and Galloway's Fox Run Park Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

Brienne photographed Kim and Galloway's wedding on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Fox Run Park. A reception after their wedding was held at the Mozaic Restaurant at the Inn at Palmer Divide. Melissa of Moonriver Weddings and Events was on hand to help coordinate their wedding day and the photographs are magical. Kim and Galloway are dashing. Between their wedding and their reception they dashed off in Lyle's beautiful Buick. We love Lyle and his Buick. He's a perfect addition to everyone's wedding day. Stay tuned for a slide show of their wedding day soon! — Sean

Lauren and Nathan's Garden of the Gods Club Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Lauren and Nathan's wedding here. Lauren and Nathan were married outside by the reflecting pool at the Garden of the Gods Club. Lauren and Nathan share a passion for the Colorado outdoors and there's nothing more Colorado than Pikes Peak as a backdrop! Lauren and Nathan, with planning help from Melissa of Moonriver Weddings and Events, also decided to see each other before their wedding. We photographed both families beforehand and that gave Lauren and Nathan extra time to spend with their guests after the wedding. I'm super glad for it! I wouldn't have caught the gem below, one of the guests congratulating Lauren, if they had opted for family photographs after the ceremony. Click here to see a slide show of Lauren and Nathan's wedding day. Thanks Lauren and Nathan, I had a wonderful time photographing your wedding! — Sean

Lauren and Nathan's Garden of the Gods Club Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

I photographed Lauren and Nathan's wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club on Saturday. They were married on the lawn by the reflecting pool. This is the first year that ceremonies have been held there and it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever photographed a ceremony. Melissa of Moonriver Weddings and Events planned the day perfectly. My close friend Kent Meireis helped me as a second photographer. He's already posted a slide show as well as more pictures from Lauren and Nathan's wedding on his blog. Click here to see the slide show. Thanks Kent. As always you were a huge help and you're a fantastic photographer. Stay tuned for a slide show of Lauren and Nathan's wedding day soon! — Sean

Sherry and Rick's Wedding - part II

Earlier I posted a photograph from Sherry and Rick's wedding and I wanted to follow it up with a little more about Sherry and Rick, a couple who fell in love while attending Florida State. Rick is an officer in the Army. Sherry is a school teacher. They were married at the First Baptist Church downtown and held their reception at the Garden of the Gods Club. Melissa of Moonriver Weddings coordinated their wedding day. Sherry and Rick decided to see each other before the ceremony, make time for family photographs and take advantage of the beautiful views that the Garden of the Gods Club offers. I'm sure glad they did! Doesn't an officer in uniform make for incredible pictures:) Also, a big thank you to Lyle who graciously agreed to drive Sherry and Rick from the church to the club in his 1939 Buick. He's a real gentleman with an incredible car! Congratulations Sherry and Rick and thanks so much for inviting me to photograph your wedding! Click here to see a brief slideshow of their wedding day. — Sean

Gina and Mike's Engagement

I photographed Gina and Mike's engagement sitting yesterday at the Garden of the Gods. Gina and Mike are planning a September 2007 wedding. They are planning their wedding so far out because of their busy schedules. Mike's attending graduate school at Columbia University. And Gina is a private tutor full-time. Gina and Mike are Colorado Springs natives and attended the same high school at the same time. They didn't start dating, though, until after college when they bumped into each other in New York City. The rest is history:) To view a slideshow of their engagement sitting**CLICK HERE** All of our slideshows require flash player. Download a free version here: flash player — Sean

Sherry and Rick's Engagement

In the company of their chocolate lab, Rick proposed to Sherry at the Siamese Twins rock formation at the Garden of the Gods. That's also where they decided to have their engagement photographs done. Sherry and Rick are marrying next June at the Garden of the Gods Club. They readily admit they're way ahead in planning for their wedding. But it's for good reason. Rick is headed to Nigeria on a peacekeeping mission and will be gone for several months. Sherry first met Rick while attending Florida State. So, it's practically a mandatory requirement to throw on the FSU jerseys for a couple of photographs too:) We had a great afternoon. I know when they're apart that they will cherish the pictures we made. To view a slideshow of some of their engagment photos **CLICK HERE** All of our slideshows require flash player.
