Shannon and Peter's Coffee Table Book

I've written here before about Shannon and Peter's wedding and it seems I'm doing it again. Peter's parents John and Cathygot their coffee table book first and Shannon and Peter's coffee table book comes in a close second. We've finished it and it's onits way to them. I'm thrilled with their book as I am thrilled with everything about their wedding. The editors at The Knotalso felt the same way and wrote about their wedding here. Shannon and Peter were married during an incredible morningceremony at the Air Force Academy Chapel. Afterwards, we joined their guests for a sunset reception on the sunrise terraceat the Garden of the Gods Club. If you didn't see their wedding slide show click here. Shannon and Peter's wedding on newsstands now!

Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy wedding last May was really quite something and the editors at The Knot thought so too. The Knot Colorado is featuring Shannon and Peter's wedding in their 2009 Spring/Summer issue. I've posted spreads from the magazine here. The magazine will be out newsstands soon. Shannon and Peter were married at the Air Force Academy Chapel and celebrated with an evening reception at the Garden of the Gods Club. For me, what made their wedding day was how much fun they had. Cathy and John's wonderful thank you note

Cathy and John ordered a Coffee Table Book from Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy Wedding and I received this note from them after they received their book:

Dear Sean,
Both John and I want to thank you and your staff for capturing our son's wedding day in such a creative manner. Your skills were demonstrated by your attention to detail and unobtrusive presence throughout the festivities. Your photography will forever bring us back to experience this special occasion. Our album has been shown often to friends and family. The comment we repeatedly hear is how professional and artistic the pictures are. As most of the planning was done through e-mails and long-distance communication, we appreciate the ease with which your staff handled our requests. Shannon and Peter's 20x30

I photographed Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy wedding earlier this summer. They recently ordered a 20x30 enlargement for themselves. It's one of my favorite portraits of the year. Shannon and Peter are standing alone together in the Garden of the Gods enjoying an intimate moment, the wind is blowing Shannon's dress and Pikes Peak is in the background. John and Cathy's Coffee Table Book

We just received in the mail a coffee table book for Peter's parents John and Cathy. John and Cathy decided they wanted their own 10x10 coffeetable book designed specifically for them. It looks smashing. They selected some wonderful images from Shannon and Peter's AirForce Academy wedding. You can see more pictures from their wedding here. John and Cathy decided on a 30-page book which I'm glad forbecause it allowed us to play many of the images in the book larger. I can't wait for them to see it! — Sean

Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy Wedding

I posted a sneak peak of Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy Chapel wedding here. Shannon and Peter scheduled their ceremony in the early afternoon. I love that they planned it that way. We had an hour before their reception at the Garden of the Gods Club so we drove to the Garden of the Gods park for photographs. We arrived at the club just in time for a cocktail hour at sunset and dinner outside on the Garden Terrace. Shannon and Peter met in high school. While at the Air Force Academy Peter was a cadet falconer. So he arranged for a picture opportunity with a cadet and his falcon Banjo. Click here to see a brief slide show of their wedding day. Shannon and Peter's Air Force Academy Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

I photographed Shannon and Peter's wedding Saturday at the Air Force Academy. It's hard to imagine that your wedding day can hinge on a hook. But that's what happened yesterday for Shannon when the hook on her dress broke. Still, Shannon made it to the church on time and found a needle and thread that saved the day. Shannon and Peter celebrated with an evening reception at the Garden of the Gods Club for their close family and friends. Despite the dress mishap (which made for a wonderful picture and an unforgettable memory:) Shannon and Peter had a fantastic wedding. Stay tuned for a slide show of their wedding day soon.
