Maggie and Oliver's Colorado Springs Wedding

I posted a sneak peek of Maggie and Oliver's wedding here. They were married August 9, 2008 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Maggie and Oliver held their reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club. Between the church and the club we stopped at the Broadmoor to take some pictures. I love this moment (at left) of Maggie and Oliver practicing their first dance. At the reception, Maggie's family made sure to serenade the wedding couple. When Maggie's brother Mike married Gina last year, Sean photographed the same serenade. Maggie and Oliver's Colorado Springs Wedding (A Sneak Peek)

On Saturday I photographed Maggie and Oliver's wedding at St. Paul Catholic Church. They celebrated afterwards with a reception at the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club. You may remember Maggie and Oliver's engagement sitting from last winter. Maggie came to us by referral. Sean photographed her brother Mike's wedding to Gina last October. During the planning stages, Maggie told me she wanted photos with mountains. Unfortunately, you couldn't see any mountains from the church, even though it is very close to Cheyenne Mountain. Nor could you see them at the Cheyenne Mountain Country Club. Not to be deterred…Maggie and Oliver opted for photos at the Broadmoor on the west lawn. As it turned out, it couldn't have been more perfect. We got the mountain views they wanted and we got some great photos on the west side of the Broadmoor! Wedding at St. Paul's Church & The Broadmoor

Jennifer and Mathew were married at St. Paul Catholic Church next door to the Broadmoor Hotel where Jennifer and Mathew hosted their reception in the Lake Terrace ballroom. There is not enough room here to show all of the wonderful photographs we made. Next week, I will be publishing a more complete portfolio and slideshow of this fabulous wedding. Before their wedding I photographed Jennifer getting ready in her Lakeside suite. After their ceremony Jennifer and Mathew returned to the hotel in a horse and carriage. It's always a romantic moment to see the couple depart the church in a horse and carriage. We were fortunate that the weather was dry. They took some extra time to enjoy their ride around the Broadmoor grounds. The reception was incredible. There are always little moments during a reception that mean so much. Romie and Tom at the Broadmoor

Romie and Tom were married Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church. Together they planned a wedding weekend full of activities. It began with a rehearsal dinner Friday evening at the Cheyenne Lodge. After their wedding at St. Paul, Romie and Tom met their guests at the Broadmoor Hotel for cocktails on the terrace at sunset and a dinner reception in the Lake Terrace Dining Room.
