Tess and David's Engagement Sitting

On Sunday I traveled to Sedalia to photograph Tess and David's engagement sitting. Tess and David are planning a September wedding at Chico Basin Ranch. Tess' father Duke (a true renaissance cowboy) manages the ranch. Several years ago I photographed Duke and the ranch for a feature article in the local newspaper. Chico Basin Ranch is an 87,000-acre working ranch that's available to the public for both education and recreation. Tess and David now live in Denver so we met halfway and scheduled it for the late afternoon when the light is the nicest. Tess and David also brought their dog Brody.
