I just received a nice note from Erica of Erica and Bryan. They were married at the Broadmoor last fall and we're awaiting their designer book to arrive in the mail. Here's what Erica wrote:

Emily's wonderful thank you note

I received this wonderful note from Emily of Emily and Ross in the mail. Emily and Ross were married June 7, 2008 at the Broadmoor. Here's what Emily wrote in her note:

Ross and I just wanted to thank you so very much for the beautiful framed photo from our wedding. I was so excited when I got a notice from my office that a package I was not expecting arrived for me and even more thrilled when I opened it! Everyone has been raving about our wedding photos and album. They turned out absolutely perfect! You are such a talented photographer, and it truly shows in every single image. And, Ross and I just loved getting to know you. You were so fun to work with. Can we go back to June? I miss all of you guys in Colorado Springs! — Emily

Manishi and Ro's thank you note

I just received this wonderful thank you note in the mail from Manishi and Rohit. Not sure if you remember, but I went to Houston last year to help my friend Joanna Pinneo photograph their wedding. This is the first time I ever received a note from a bride and groom where I wasn't the primary photographer. Here's what they said in part:

I cannot believe that Rohit and I have been married for one year now! Thanks so much for photographing our wedding with Joanna in November 2007. We are amazed at your artistic talents whenever we view the slide show. Beyond what we adored in your photography is what our families appreciated. They waited 30+ years for this event and are stunned, awed, and flabbergasted by how creative and talented you are. Lyn and Steve's Coffee Table Book

I photographed Lyn and Steve's Broadmoor wedding in September. In the craziness of meeting our holiday deadlines for different albums, I forgot to show here their coffee table book. It's beautiful and tells the story of their wedding day wonderfully. The book has a gorgeous cover image. Their wedding day was so unique. Lyn and Steve hosted a very small group of family and friends and were married in a ceremony in the Penrose Suite. Lyn and Steve just received their book in the mail and sent me this nice note: We received our wedding book. It is Fantastic!!!! We knew the pictures weregreat but the quality of the book, paper stock and layout is exceptional. I think about all of our family members; children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren that will look atthis book and remember us and this amazing occasion. Lauren's wonderful thank you note

I photographed Lauren and Nathan's Garden of the Gods Club wedding in June. They ordered a coffee table book and we just put it in the mail to them. Click here to see pictures of their book. I just received a wonderful thank you note from Lauren in my e-mail:

I received the album yesterday afternoon and Nathan and I couldn’t be more pleased. We LOVE the album and the quality is amazing, something I can really appreciate being in the design business. The paper used for each page is so nice, the pictures look great, and I love the cover and the personalized black box that the book slides into. We are especially glad that we decided to go with 30 pages. The PDF sample just doesn’t do the book justice! I am really looking forward to showing it to family & friends. The book is already on display on our coffee table and we have company over tonight! Also, thank you for the digital negatives. We are so glad to have EVERYTHING so beautifully documented. Why we keep a journal

I just received this wonderful note from Merilace, mother of Sarah. I photographed Sarah's wedding to Radek at the Briarhurst Manor August 5, 2006:

I just found a link to Sarah and Radek’s wedding and watched the video that you have posted in your photo journal. What a treat it was for me. The wedding was just over 2 years ago – it seems both a longer and a shorter time than that – and the video brought back to me the real joy I felt at the time and still feel. It was a happy wedding and a beautiful one that you captured brilliantly. I don’t know how long you keep such videos active but I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that it is available now. Paula's wonderful note

Paula and Younes were married December 1 in an intimate ceremony in the Utah Copper Room of the Broadmoor Hotel. I just received a wonderful handwritten note from Paula:

A nice note from Rachel

Rachel just sent us a wonderful note and we're both blown away:

The Cayton's were so amazing to work with. My sister got married in 03' and she had Sean do their pictures. They were the most beautiful photos. I just had to have them for my own wedding in 06'. Cathy delivered the most talented and emotion packed pictures. When you see them it's as if you are there sharing the moment. I show them to everyone who wants to see them. Holly and Blake had a beautiful wedding at a private residence in Black Forest last July. Holly's mother Bev was the wedding planner extraordinaire. I just received a wonderful note from Jennifer and Mathew. They were married in April and had the most incredible wedding at the Broadmoor. Their rehearsal dinner at the Garden of the Gods Club wasn't too bad either:) Here's what Jennifer said about her photos:

WOW!! These are fabulous!! I'm addicted! It was like reading a great novel that I couldn't put down. Everyone I've heard from thinks these are amazing photos and thinks you're a fabulous photographer (of course, we already knew that but it's fun to hear their enthusiasm!!!).

Follow up on the beautiful book

A follow-up to my post about our contemporary album made by La Vie. Fang and John were married a year ago and they picked up their book when they returned to Colorado for a ski vacation. And here's what they said about their book:'Fang and I love the album. We hand carried it back from Colorado when we flew back on Sunday, and have it on display in our living room. Everyone that has seen it so far has complimented the album. It is so beautiful! Thanks again for all of your aid in getting this wonderful album together it is a masterpiece!'— John

Thanks so much for your note John! As an aside, when we compared our sample album to the new one we couldn't see any wear in our sample. It's our experience that some albums wear better than others and this one gets a five star rating! — Sean
