Kelly and Nate's Ultimate Wedding Book

Kelly and Nate's Ultimate Wedding Book arrived in the mail and we're thrilled. Kelly and Nate were married last summer at St. Mary's CatholicChurch in Breckenridge and they celebrated with a reception on the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Kelly and Nate were attracted to theUltimate Wedding Book because of its design. The book has a contemprary look with a steel cover and the pages of the book aretextured linen. They also really liked that they could get additional, duplicate albums. The duplicate albums are smaller than the master buthave the same cover and linen pages. The layout of the book is wonderful and Kelly and Nate chose the best pictures to display. They had a lot to choose from too. I can't wait for them to see it! — Sean

Emily and Billy's Ultimate Wedding Book

Emily and Billy's Ultimate Wedding Book arrived today just in time for the holidays! It's a beautiful book and it showcases one of my favorite weddings of the year. If you haven't seen their wedding slideshow click here. Emily and Billy decided that they wanted a book thatwas more contemporary. It's a real book with textured linen pages. And check out the brushed metal cover! Emily and Billy also wanted parent albums and this was a great choice. The Ultimate Wedding Book comes with two 8x12 parent albums and we're now carrying the brushed metal covers with those too. If you want to see this book schedule an appointment! We loved their album so much we ordered an additional one as a studio sample:) — Sean

Our wedding album arrived!

Our wedding album arrived from Italy and we are stoked! It's a really cool book made by a company called Graphis Studio. Check out our album slideshow. One of the best things about this album is that it's sold as a set. It comes with two 8x12 hardcover parent albums and a bunch of 4x5 hardcovers which we can gift to our families.
The photos were done by our close friend Mark Adams of LaCour Photography. We are starting to show this album to interested couples even though the pictures weren't done by us. We always find ourselves talking about our wedding because it had a lot of creative personal touches and we needed the pictures to show them off. The photographs that Mark shoots are in the same style as our own photography and by showing our album it's a great way for people to get to know us better.
If you're looking at wedding photographers right now here's an idea: See if they will show you their own wedding album. (They need to be married of course.) Our advice about wedding photography: Don't let a set of proofs or a CD gather dust in the closet.
Cathy and I had a September wedding in her father's apple orchard in Whitefield, New Hampshire We had about 130 guests. Some traveled from as far away as Germany to attend. Here are some of our own personal touches:
• We recruited most of the musicians in our family to sing and to perform (including my cousin the bagpiper)
• Ceremony readings included Dr. Seuss and Henry David Thoreau
• Cathy invited everyone to help bake pies for our wedding
• Instead of a cake cutting, we served pie to our guests in matching bride and groom aprons
• We provided Polaroid cameras for our guests to use and had a place to display the photos during the reception
• Cathy ordered boutonnieres for our families, but she picked her bouquet on site a few minutes before the ceremony started
• We had an extended cocktail hour (closer to 2 hours) before dinner and had lawn games including croquet, golf and horseshoes
• A friend who brews beer set up a beer tent for the reception
• Our caterer served dinner family-style
• We had a local group of dancers give contra dancing lessons after dinner
• A bonfire was started and we danced and played music into the evening
• A pancake breakfast was held for everyone the next morning
