Ika and Matt hosted their destination wedding at Aspen Meadows Resort, featuring an outdoor ceremony on the Merrill Patio and a warm dinner reception in the Aspen Meadows Restaurant right afterward. Aspen was the obvious choice for Ika—its clean air, crisp light, and mountain atmosphere reminded her of Sweden, where much of their love story began.

With Matt working as an airline pilot, their relationship included long distances and frequent travel. He made several trips to Sweden to see Ika during their intercontinental courtship, and their wedding in Aspen felt like a celebration shaped by both adventure and home. Jane Floyd Associates helped bring the day together, Reverend Jill Pidcock officiated, and Dylan Regan of Platinum Productions kept the reception moving with music that matched the mood perfectly.
