At Cayton Photography, we typically deliver a couple’s complete wedding gallery within 7–10 days of the wedding.

We’ve photographed weddings for decades, and our workflow is built around editing and delivering photographs while the celebration is still fresh—for our couples and for us.

Why can wedding photography take so long?

Wedding photographers may photograph thousands of images during a wedding day. Those photographs have to be reviewed, selected, color corrected, adjusted and prepared for delivery.

Turnaround times also depend on how a photography business is structured. A photographer who photographs several weddings before beginning the editing process can quickly accumulate weeks of unfinished work.

We work differently. Editing is part of our wedding workflow rather than something postponed until later in the season.

Do you send wedding previews?

Yes. We understand why couples want to see and share photographs immediately after their wedding.

We provide a selection of photographs soon after the celebration while we finish preparing the complete gallery.

How many wedding photographs will we receive?

We don’t photograph weddings to reach a predetermined image count. We photograph the people, relationships, reactions and moments that tell the story of the day.

Your finished gallery is carefully edited rather than filled with unnecessary duplicates simply to produce a larger number.

Are all of the photographs edited?

Yes. The photographs delivered in your finished wedding gallery are individually selected and professionally prepared.

Our goal isn’t simply fast delivery. It’s to deliver a finished body of photographs that reflects the wedding faithfully and beautifully.

Does faster delivery mean less editing?

No. Speed comes from workflow, not from skipping the work.

We begin organizing and editing immediately rather than allowing weddings to accumulate in a backlog. The photographs still receive the same attention to selection, color, tone and consistency before the gallery is delivered.

When should we expect our wedding photographs?

For most weddings photographed by Cayton Photography, you can expect your complete gallery in approximately 7–10 days.

That means you can enjoy the photographs, share them with family and friends, and begin preserving them while the experience is still fresh.
