Rhize Mountain Retreat Wedding on Pikes Peak’s West Slope | Jamie & Jacob
Jamie and Jacob planned an intimate Rhize Mountain Retreat wedding high on the west slope of Pikes Peak. Set on 43 acres of aspen and pine forest beside Pike National Forest, Rhize feels like a private alpine hideaway—looking out toward Cripple Creek with wide-open views of the Collegiate Range and the Continental Divide.
This rustic mountain venue is designed for small, elevated celebrations (up to about 40 guests) and the experience is part of the charm: the drive requires 4WD, the air is crisp, and the scenery stretches for miles. With gourmet meals, outdoor fire pits, and an all-inclusive approach, Rhize is built for couples who want a destination wedding that feels adventurous and effortless.
Jamie and Jacob traveled from California to be married in the high alpine forest. They celebrated with a gourmet dinner in the Hummingbird Barn, then spent the evening with cocktails and dancing under the stars in the Rocky Mountains.
