Shove Chapel Wedding in Colorado Springs | Barrell & Jacob

Barrell and Jacob celebrated their Shove Chapel wedding in Colorado Springs, followed by a reception at The Broadmoor’s Cheyenne Lodge. Celebrations by Maggie helped plan their destination wedding weekend, and Rich Designs provided the décor and design for both the ceremony and the reception.

Barrell and Jacob invited me to photograph their full wedding weekend, including a welcome reception on Thursday, a golf outing on The Broadmoor’s East Course, and a ladies luncheon at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on Friday. Being included in multiple events makes the experience more relaxed for everyone—and it gives me extra time to build a real connection with the couple and their families, which always shows in the photographs.
